WHAT WE DO

The Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau was established in September of 1988. Our mission is to promote the City of Tempe as a desirable group and visitor destination on a local, national and international level.

· WHAT IS OUR ROLE?
The main role of the Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau is to attract an increasing number of leisure visitors and convention delegates to the City of Tempe through design and implementation of comprehensive sales and marketing programs. The Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau educates and provides information to tourists, travel agents, meeting planners, journalists and other tourism related entities about the many attractions in and around our city.

· HOW DO WE PROMOTE TEMPE?
The Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau promotes Tempe through internet marketing, participation in trade shows and sales missions, targeted direct mail programs, personal contacts and presentations, advertising and placement of news stories in strategic publications.
